About your teacher

From the sunshine state of Florida, then in elementary school I moved with my family to New York. I have 8 siblings; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.  As you can imagine the holidays and dinners are loud, but always fun. I graduated college from the University at Cortland with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and a Masters degree in ESL Education grades K-12. I am the proud mom of an 12-year-old Yorkie, Kiki and a 8 year old black lab, Loretta.  On the weekends I like to work in my garden, baking desserts, have BBQ’s with my family and friends, and ride my dirt bike. ​

What to expect in the classroom 

My classroom will provide students with rigorous instruction in which students engage in authentic learning experiences and apply knowledge and skills to real world problems. Instruction will be differentiated, including powerpoints, projects, stations with the use of technology.
